About Us
d'Lovelies is a high-energy swing band hailing from Lyons, Colorado, delivering an irresistible cocktail of musical styles that keep audiences hooked from the first note. Rooted in traditional blues, our sound flows into the danceable syncopation of early jazz, hits the upbeat rhythms of Western swing, and then wraps it all up with our own brand of catchy original Americana — full of rich storytelling and heartfelt harmonies.
Led by versatile guitarist and songwriter Rob Pate, with the soulful, dynamic vocals of Erin Friedman and the resonant tones of bassist and vocalist Duane Webster, d'Lovelies offers lush three-part harmonies. Original tunes add a fresh twist to our classic sound, infusing every set with something uniquely ours.
Our shows are a musical journey, featuring virtuosic performances by members of local heavyweights like Voodoo Lily, Brothers of Brass, the 89s, MMB3 Organ Trio, and Espresso Swing.
